I noticed some tourbillon cage turn clockwise, and others turn anti clockwise, what is the differences ? Thanks

Hello, I think all tourbillon anti-clockwise you have seen was hiding tourbillon and you have seen then through the back of the watch? That simply if you want have de second’s hand turn clockwise on the dial, the tourbillon should turn anti-clockwise on t...

I think I have only ever seen them turn clockwise and all mine do. Do you know who makes a anti-clockwise version? Cheers Andrew

I think the Roger Smith latest tourbillon is anti clockwise one. alone with others too, but I can't recall it now KLC

I have never seen a tourbillon that turns counterclockwise from the front. This is because the tourbillon is in the gear train where the seconds wheel would be and seconds hands do normally turn clockwise. There is no technical reason why it couldn't be o...

Hi Don, AP introduced a wristwatch tourbillon in the mid eighties that has a counterclockwise turn on the dial side, making one revolution in about 45 seconds or so. You may remember that we saw a couple of them on the workbench being serviced during one ...
