Hi, I'm new to this forum and thought I would post my first question now. I have long been in the market for a UN 263-22 and i recently found one that was priced at around 3000 euros. I have gotten some photos from the seller and just wanted to check with...

... A good evaluation of the watch's condition. 3000 Euros are roughly the list price at the time of purchase, so for that price, I'd rather demand a full factory service, including a refurbishing of case and bracelet. Marcus

I have been in contact with the buyer and with your feedback I have negotiated the price down to 2600 euros and that we will do an inspection of the movement before a deal is struck. I will keep you posted on what happens. Could anyone of you give a rough...

... it to be maximum ten years old. Anyway, if it was worn often, at least one complete movement service should have been done. A complete factory service of a Marine Chronometer, including refurbishing of case and bracelet costs 600 Swiss Franks. So for ... 

Hi Guys and thank you all so much for the help! I bought the watch and we had it examined by a watchmaker that concluded that the movement was in very good shape and was in no need of service. I still managed to get the price down to 2500 euros and I hope... 

What I always liked on this watch is its versatility. ON one hand a fully capable sports watch, especially on bracelet, but on the other hand an elegant dress watch, if combined with a nice leather strap. I wish you a lot of fun with it! Marcus

Christ all might, that's dirt cheap. Ok the bracelet is battered but that's a beauty... and for that price it's free! Congrats, I'd have bought that :D
