I read somewhere that seiko put on seven layers of gloss coating to achieve dynamic effects.

simply can't be matched by any other brand offerings in that price range...its really impressive in my opinion. And its a theme that runs through to Grand Seiko too - just fantastic bang for buck.

Yes .. IMHO this is under valued. Looks spectacular. I have seen a few different watch their dials all look different!

I think the dial are done individually hence the every one of the dial look different.

Saw it recently and almost bought it----but now waiting for the blue enamel issue(not sure if successful in getting it) decisions decisions,but this one is real bang for the buck! Enjoy your watch! best henry

The dial is quite reminiscent of the first generation Cocktail Time

From the 1970s (I believe). That was a very different, hand wound piece. But like the texture and overall look a lot

Interesting.. I didn't know cocktail time back date all the way to the 70s..
