New Freak Phantom.

When I visited, as I regularly do, the official Ulysse Nardin Website, I had the hope to FINALLY see the new Freak, you know, with the new re designed bezel, dial and hands...

In fact, I fell on a new Freak, which is not the one I expected.

Here is the new Phantom, the Diavolo receiving the Phantom design.

It is a 45 mm case, in rose gold only ( for the moment? ) limited to an edition of 99 pièces.

I must say that I always loved the Phantom design on the former Freak...

... This monochrome approach, very intriguing, which works very well with the Freak spirit, I find.

So I am happy to see that the Diavolo received the same treatment.

Now, I hope Ulysse Nardin will release one in white metal!

Still, I am also wondering why the brand doesn't officially announce the new Freak...

Best,

Nicolas

But I might be wrong... The Blue Phantom was just a cosmetic version of the Freak2...nothing more if I remember correctly..... Same here...but I cant see extra differences other than design ones. The other"new"new freak instead is a whole new watch in the...

Yes the new Freak is a ghost, while UN is unveiling the Phantom.

A Ghost hidden behind a Phantom... Only U.N could do that. ;) Like you, I don't see a difference between this Phantom and the regular Diavolo except the dial matching with the " hands ". Best, my friend. Nicolas

To set the watch, turn the watch when the "lip" is lifted up. For those who have touched it in the metal, I am just wondering. 1) If the "lip" gets lifted up accidentally very easily (and as a result the time gets changed easily by accident) ? 2) Could yo...

Easy...

The locking system has be mounted on the Freak 2, since 2005, to avoid the bezel to accidentally turn. The locking system cannot be lifted accidentally. You cannot turn the bezel if the locking system is down.
