Basel 2015: Ulysse Nardin Vivaldi.
In 2013, Ulysse Nardin unveiled a music box in a wrist Watch ala Ulysse Nardin, which means crazy and original, in my own dictionary, the Stranger.

Now, for those who are not found of Sinatra and his famous song " Stranger in the night ", Ulysse Nardin decided to unveil the Vivaldi, and more precisely his Violin Concerto in E.
For those who want to know more about The Stranger, here is the short article I wrote:
The Vivaldi works in the same way than the Stranger.
Only the melody changes.
So, we have a 45 mm case, water resistant to 30 meters, housing a Cal UN 690, automatic, offering a 48 hours autonomy and with the escapement, Anchor and balance spring made in silicium.
You have a pusher integrated to the crown, to choose the winding, date and time functions.
And two pushers at 8 and 10 o clock to use, or not, the music box.
Like The Stranger, it is a limited edition of 99 pièces. I hope that, unlike The Stranger, the Vivaldi plays louder, though....
Like in The Stranger, I regret the presence of the Date. If a date was mandatory in such a Watch, then why not a Grande Date?
I hope to be able, one day, to see AND hear this one in the real, but in the meantime, here are the two official pictures.
