Intregrity and hardwork behind the company...pics of the UN factory and thinktank

It will not surprise many collectors today that some watch "companies" or "makers" are no more than a cellphone, well cut suit, an office with a good adress, and a team of out sourced marketeers (ad agency with only Rolex owners).

These terrible "manufactures" I will have no part of helping them review or write up any one of their products.

I can pick and choose, simply for the BIGGEST reason of all....I do not need their patronage for advertising on any of my companies. I have nothing to do with advertising/press.

That said. I also want to UNDO as much as possible, the illusions of their "manufactures". Last year, with IWC, Ulysse Nardin, Dufour and Vianney Halter...I have tried my best...for those who have the UN book, it is only the beginning. I have had no editorial control over the UN book, it was first and foremost a UN project for Mr Rolf Schnyder, a man I have great respect for.

What begins here, are pictures which illustrate that UN is a REAL watchmaker.

There are over 7000 sq feet devoted to research and development of materials, balances, and even movement development for other uses.

There is a close friendship and cooperation with Ludwig Oeschlin, a visionary talent.

There is leadership with Rolf as the watch boss, who goes into details as far as hand shapes, and marketing strategy.

Here ..we see the basics...visions, and simple watch assembly areas of over 4000sq feet. These are workers assembling basic UN models.

There is Ludwig having a conversation.

And there are people doing advanced movement designs.

If you wish to see more, please post below on what direction you would wish me to post, and what pictures you want to see...I will try to bring you on a virtual tour.
