Patek Philippe: Always thought this was the best version of that great reference

(Though on the right day you could convince me of the original J with the applied Roman XII)

Breguet: My advice is to be careful!

You know the extra tiny locking screws underneath the lugs? Try to unscrew those no further than is necessary to let the bar unscrew and slide out. Last time I changed straps I unscrewed that one all the way and it fell out. Those screws are TINY. It was a miracle that I found it!

Horological Meandering: I tried on the 38 while wearing my 36mm Rolex Explorer

It was SURPRISING how similar the two watches felt on the wrist.

Horological Meandering: Most of the recent thinking has been "Which Doxa should it be?"...

Horological Meandering: hmmm

I've been thinking about a not too big not too expensive diver on bracelet, the kind of thing I can wear into and out of the water on warm weather vacations and that doesn't feel too dear. This has to be a contender!

Blancpain: This is an EXTREMELY persuasive post

I've never felt I could really wear the 45mm Fifty Fathoms and eventually just gave up being interested in it for that reason. Now that there's a 42mm titanium version, I should be thinking "they've finally got the watch for me!" but somehow it's leaving me a bit cold in comparison.

Blancpain: Love that Leman Flyback

Every time I start getting sucked in by those beautiful Fifty Fathoms, I remind myself that a Leman like yours fits my wrist and style better and is actually the same case design too!

F.P. Journe: I think that by UP you mean what I mean by CLOCKWISE

Very weird to think that your collection is mostly that way, and my collection is mostly the other way
