Felt very honored to be asked by Robin to be the judge for this week's static shot wrist scan. As I browse through the entire thread several times, there were so many high quality shots and in my opinion, all are winners !
There were many creative and artistic shots and therefore picking the winner becomes an even more daunting task. So here are the runner ups.
The first runner up is from Orangedial with his AP RO chrono sitting on his palm. This is an unusual composition yet simple and direct with superb clarity of the watch.
The second runner up is Alain2701 with the Breguet La Tradition composed beautifully with the Lourve Museum in the background. The overall lighting was perfect and the details of the watch was captured in contrast with the almost monochrome background.
And the winner for this week's static shot is from CH9698. This seldom seen Patek Philippe model 5099RG Gondolo Cabriolet in 18 KP/WG with hunter styled cover was captured beautifully and with warm lightings brings out the glow. The case is fabricated by fusing two colors of 18K white and pink gold into one which extends from the cover to the lugs that runs in perfect symmetry.
The dial and its reflection on the inside cover was somewhat nostalgic and rather stunning.
Last but not least, special mention goes to JPOROS for this rather interesting and eerie picture of a dead baby shark with an interesting watch with a yellow dial leaning on it.
Congrats to all and to the winner and runner ups. It was tough to chose this time round as the pictures submitted were of very high quality. Thanks again to Robin for giving me the opportunity to take part as a judge and hope you have an enjoyable vacation with your family.
Cheers !
