sits at home with me as a much prized addition to my UN family.
To me the watch is another winner by UN.
Yes you have to understand skeletons. The bridges are nicely finished. The workmanship excellent. The beauty of the tourbillon lies in its material. The colors are due to to the silicium used in its construction.
The watch wears comfortably.
The music of the watch comes from the very audible ticking.
This is not a piece that I would ascribe to Ludwig's had but see it as a testament to UN's use and exploration of material science in the advancement of watch manufacturing.
As a point of interest: I had the pleasure of visiting the UN family and factory in April. While there I supped with Patrik Hoffman and he was wearing the prototype watch with the new movement created by UN. The movement was housed in a converted Skeleton Tourbillon Manufacture watch because the space for the torubillon was the right size to house the new movement.
